All Steel Construction - The
Model 3 Tubing Bender is designed with durability and
affordability in mind. All parts are 100% CNC machined. All
links are machined from 1/2" thick cold rolled steel and
zinc phosphate plated for corrosion resistance. Heavy duty
7/8" and 1" diameter pull pins are heat treated and
zinc plated.
 Dies are CNC machined from solid
steel billets. Steel dies eliminate the problems common with
aluminum dies, such as breakage and groove spreading. The Model
3 easily bends chrommolly tubing and has even successfully bent
solid 1-1/2" diameter steel bars during testing. The
tubing bender can be mounted on any sturdy surface, such as a
welding table, frame jig, work bench or pedestal.

Hydraulic Kit - As easy as the
Model 3 Tube Bender is to use, the fact remains that for a large
number of bends or when bending very tough tubing, hydraulics
makes the job easier. The optional hydraulic kit is pictured
includes the cylinder, pump, hoses, and mounting adaptor. (Air
Compressor is required to run the pump). |
